What are your qualifications to work as a trainer?
I’ve been practicing yoga for around 15 years, including one and a half years spent in India where I completed my teacher training. I feel that I am as much a student as a teacher, often attending workshops around the world given by well-known teachers, and regularly returning to India to deepen my practice at the source.
Your experience and professional successes?
I teach yoga in English, as a native speaker born in London. I hold regular classes with various groups around Warsaw, currently teach as a stand-by teacher at Yoga Republic, and lead weekend yoga retreats several times a year in addition to event and company workshops.
Your passions, hobbies?
If it weren’t for sports, I probably would have become a drummer. Additionally, I enjoy reading.
Life motto
Keep trying new things, keep moving.
Why me?
Having struggled for many years with a very stiff body, I am both sensitive to and interested in helping those less flexible to progress on their yogic paths – I particularly enjoy introducing beginners to the world of Yoga. My classes always involve breathwork (crucial to yoga and general well-being), some vinyasa (flowing movement connected to the breath), some longer held asanas, and a final relax. The level of dynamism and difficulty during the flow is always adjusted to the level of the class, with individual adjustments/ alternative poses offered.
